About me
Hi, I’m Layla. A jewellery artist based in the charming coastal town of Southwold, Suffolk.
I find endless inspiration in nature and the changing seasons of the Suffolk countryside. Each one bringing its own palette of colours, textures, and beauty.
At the heart of my work is an appreciation for life’s simple pleasures and the little things that bring us joy – the first flowers of spring, a peaceful walk through the woods in autumn, a cup of coffee at home and working on a craft project. These beautiful everyday moments are what I try to capture and share through my creations.
I like to think of my designs as wearable pieces of art. Each piece begins with an original illustration, which is then laser-etched onto sustainable birch plywood. From there, each design is intricately hand-painted from my home studio, with my little dog Ted by my side.
Over the last 10 years I have been lucky enough to have my designs stocked all over the world. As well as selling my jewellery in wonderful independent shops and galleries, I am now a proud stockist to The National Trust. My jewellery has also been sold at the RHS Chelsea Flower show and the Natural History Museum, London.
Thank you for visiting, I hope you find something that makes you smile.
